Cross My Heart card and **Giveaway**

Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope you get to spend time today with those you love.

My husband is cooking lunch for me!  Aren't I a lucky girl?  When he retired the first time around, he cooked often.  When he retired the 2nd time, he started spending more and more time on Pinball machines and never resumed cooking.  I'm really looking forward to today's treat.

Two other things on today's post... First, today's card uses Stampin' Up!'s Paper Piercing Pack from the main catalog as a basis for this stitched heart.  Here's the short video that shows how to create the heart:

  1. Love that stitched heart! How wonderful to have a husband who cooks. Mine is a willing sous chef, so I'll be content with that. Already following you on Twitter, fun giveaway you've got going!

  10. I really like the melted crayon technique but have been a little afraid to try it. I follow your blog and you tube and just wait for another post from you. I am not a good critiquer and especially here because I like what you are doing. Awesome giveaway! buck2@casscomm.com

  11. Lisa, I love your videos! What do I love about them? First, I love the intro music by Kevin MacLeod; in fact, I love it so much that I plan to use it for my own upcoming blog! (Thanks for not minding.) I also love your titling and occasional on-screen comments. You always mention it if you have a pdf sketch in the blog, and otherwise give good directions to your followers. I love that you're always trying to "teach" us something. Some blogs just show the same type of material over and over again. (Oh, my, I hope I don't become one of those.) For constructive feedback (and there isn't much): You mentioned that you want to get your videos below 10 minutes; I think that's a noble endeavor. Even when I'm personally vested, I still run into time crunches. Honestly, I don't know how you're going to do it without losing quality of information, but if anyone can come up with a way, I'm sure you can. That's it! Happy blogaversary!
